Dell Duo
Here’s an interesting spin on the tablet - the Dell Duo. It’s a lower-end tablet perhaps competitive with the Lenovo S10-3T (which I own and rather enjoy).
Quick specs:
Dual-Core Intel Atom N550 Processor
2GB RAM
$500 list (pretty affordable if you ask us)
Is it a netbook? A tablet? Both.
Onkyo 3G Windows 7 Tablet
Quick Specs:
- 11.6”
- 1.66 GHz Intel Atom processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32 GB SSD
- Bluetooth / WiFi
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- 1366x768 resolution
- 2 USB ports Not too shabby…
HP Slate 500, Demand Exceeding Supply
HP is claiming they’ve smashed their sales goals of the HP Slate 500 by nearly double the orders. So much so that there is now a backlog orders creating a 6 week wait period.
We tried to order the day it went live, and had some issues with ordering. Oddly enough, it processed everything apparently fine, but we never received a follow up email, and still haven’t received a unit. We weren’t billed either, so it appears the order didn’t go through, yet we received a confirmation number…
While this is great news for this tablet, it pales by comparison to the iPad sales. We’ll keep an eye out and wait for our unit to arrive…
Google Docs Now Editable on iOS devices
Frankly I scratch my head as to why this wasn’t available much, much sooner. However, today is the day that Google starts rolling the ability to edit your docs on your mobile device. I for one am very happy. We keep our corporate budgets, and more online in our Google Apps Docs. Now we can add data at will no matter our location.

Apple Sells 3 Millionth iPad in Under 3 Months!
Imagine if there were no delays in orders…
10 Days with the iPad: 10 Likes and 10 Dislikes
I’ve had my iPad 10 days now. I use it every day. As does my almost 6-year old son. Actually, he uses it more than I do. Although I waited to buy the 32GB 3G version, I haven’t yet enabled the cellular service - I really like the fact that I can enable it on a month-by-month basis when needed. Right now I’m using it mostly around the house over Wi-Fi, and my son uses it on car trips - no internet connection needed.
